I was talking with Joe, the owner of Boca Canvas in Boca Raton, Florida who I consider to be one of the most experienced and professional canvas people around. I was replacing a front windshield cover on a 2003 48' Sea Ray DB and was going to pull all the Hex Washer Head holding the snaps and reseat them with caulking to keep the water out since it had not been done on this boat since it was built in 2003. He told me some things that I had not thought about and showed me some materials that have come out to help protect your boat.
First, if you have screws that are holding your snaps for canvas, bimini's, bow pads or anything and they are screwed into Fiberglass/Gelcoat and they are loose, especially to the point that you could pull them out with your fingers, there are now screw in snaps that the screws are just slightly larger to accommodate the larger hole. This is great because instead of repairing the hole or moving it, you can use the same spot just with this new, slightly larger screw.
Yup, you'll need to be so comfortable around her that you can make fun of her without caring what she'll think of you. Of course, you're not supposed to be mean around her, but being cocky and funny at the same time is definitely more interesting than if you tried to be stiff, polite, and formal all the time.
Resources can affect projects in many ways - the common issue is either not enough resources or not enough with the right capability/experience. Ineffective resource management is one of the most critical (and common) mistakes made. Without resources your project will go nowhere. People should be viewed as assets - you need the right asset at the right time in order for you to fulfill your target. Getting the right people with the right skill-set in the right place at the right time is essential.

Much too soon our journey was complete, and after the mandatory shopping stop, it was time to make our way back to our floating hotel just in time to catch a glimpse of the island as we left port.
